There are still many SAFE, family-friendly, 2020 Fall events for you to attend close to home! Whether you’d like to take a stroll through the Parklands in Louisville or pick out a pumpkin at Trunnell’s in Owensboro, or sip on apple cider at Jackson’s Orchard in Bowling Green, there is plenty of time to enjoy Autumn festivities.
Many of these Fall events are in close distance to Jagoe Communities! We are excited to sponsor Halloween in the Park & Ghost Walks in Newburgh, IN. This beautiful, historic city is home to our Berkshire communities, which have a wide range of plans and stylish facades for you to choose from.
Historical Newburgh Ghost Walks | October 16th – 18th
Join us for Ghostly Hayride Tours on the Newburgh Riverfront Pavilion! Tours are $15 per person (all ages) and can be purchased online ONLY! Tours will run every 20 minutes each night from 6 PM – 9 PM, with the 9 PM tour being the last tour of the night. You must have a ticket to ride the hayride due to space limitations.
All hayride participants above the age of 3 must wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth for the duration of the hayride tour. Social distancing is not possible on the hayride.
Halloween in the Park | October 31st
The Warrick Parks Foundation will host the first Halloween in the Park event on Saturday, October 31st in Friedman Park from 4PM – 10 PM. We are proud sponsors of this FREE, family-friendly event, which will feature trick-or-treating from local businesses, snacks, a ghost walk and a special showing of “Hocus Pocus” in the amphitheater!
Louisville Jack O’Lantern Spectacular | October 1st – November 1st
This annual event, held at Iroquois Park, is DRIVE-THRU for 2020! You can Purchase Tickets Online as individual tickets, or for groups!
The event is open from dusk until 11 PM weeknights, and dusk until Midnight on Friday & Saturday. Note: The event will stay open until the last car in line at closing has been through.
Jeffersontown Pumpkinfest | October 31st
Jeffersontown Pumpkinfest is a free Halloween celebration fit for revelers of all ages. It features a variety of fun and ghoulish activities sure to get your family in the holiday spirit.
Located at the Farmers Market Pavillion, attendees can enjoy a trick-or-treat walk, an outdoor lunch, door prizes and much more.
2020 Pumpkinfest may be Drive-Thru only! Festival information may not be up to date due to COVID-19, but you can view a list of cancellations here.
Trunnell’s Family Fun-Acre | September 5th – November 6th
Trunnell’s Family Fun-Acre includes activities to keep active toddlers happy, school-aged youngsters intrigued and adults amazed. Purchase Tickets Online and experience all that Trunnell’s has to offer such as the corn maze, animal barnyard, giant slide, korn pit, jumping pillow, wagon rides and another 25+ activities!
Trunnell’s has enacted a Covid-19 Safety Plan.
Owensboro Symphony Stroll | September 25th
The community will be invited to stroll along the beautiful riverfront and enjoy the sounds of the Owensboro Symphony.
The event entitled Symphony Stroll, will be offered free to the community, and will feature ensembles placed throughout Smothers Park, beginning with Troy Quinn and the Symphony Chamber Orchestra at the Overlook Stage and reaching all the way to the plaza behind the RiverPark Center where a jazz quartet will perform. There will be many surprises throughout the entire park.
Jackson’s Orchard Fall Weekends | September 24th – October 31st
Jackson’s Orchard is excited to present a safer, more spread out time of fall events. They ask that you bring your mask and practice safe social distancing.
Wagon Rides to the Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze & (Pick-Your-Own Apples), the Petting Zoo, Pony Rides (Saturdays & Sundays only), The Goat Ranch, and The Cider Slider and our Children’s Slide are all available to enjoy! Additionally, all of the great food, including our Hot Dog Cart, Caramel Apples & Apple BBQ!
Huntingburg Christmas Stroll | November 8th – 15th
Experience the joys of a Victorian Christmas in the heart of Huntingburg’s downtown historic district. Gather around for the illuminating magic of the Christmas Tree Lighting, officially kicking off the festivities on Sunday, November 8th.
The inviting decorated storefronts along the street are filled with everything you need to complete your holiday shopping… and maybe even find a gift or two for yourself! Roam the closed roadways and discover pop-up vendors and wineries. Sips and Samples happens on Tuesday, November 10th, where shoppers receive complimentary prepackaged food and drink samples at select shops. Now in its 34th year, the Christmas Stroll heralds the official start of the holiday season in Southern Indiana!
